The IS230TBTCH1B is a GE Mark VI board component.This small board functions as a Thermocouple Input board within the Mark VI system.The Mark VI is one of the last gas/steam turbine management systems developed and released by GE as part of the Speedtronic line.This line of management systems had over thirty years of development from GE, with a focus on creating turbine management systems that would improve the reliability of their associated turbines through excellent design and efficient use of the best technology available at the time of their release. TheIS230TBTCH1B functions as a Thermocouple Input terminal board.This board can accept 24 type E, J, K, S, or T thermocouple inputs.It works with the VTCC processor. The board is built with two barrier type terminal blocks located along its front edge (TB1 and TB2.)Each of these terminal blocks has 24 thermocouple inputs (in TMR packs this equates to 12 inputs per block.) When installing theIS230TBTCH1B, the thermocouple wires directly to the two I/O terminal blocks using [up to] #12 AWG wire.There is a shield bar attached to the chassis ground on the left side of each terminal block. The six J-type connectors located on the board (JTA, JTB, JSA, JSB, JRA, JRB) should be cabled to the I/O processors in the VME rack. TheIS230TBTCH1B has high/low hardware limit checking.Cold junction accuracy is to 2 degrees Fahrenheit. Please follow all installation guidelines as specified by the original manufacturer.
