Description
The IS215UCVDH1A is a controller component manufactured by GE for the Mark VI system.The Mark VI is a management platform for gas and steam turbine systems. The Mark VI was released in the 1990s and can be designed to fit the complexity and size of the turbine, using either a simplex or TMR version. TheIS215UCVDH1A is a double-slot board that uses a 300 MHz AMD-K6 processor with 16 MB of DRAM and8 MB of flash memory. The front faceplate has multiple components mounted into its surface, including an Ethernet port for UDH communication, two ISBus plugs, two mouse/keyboard ports, a receptacle for Genius cable, two COM ports, a monitor port, a reset button, and status LEDs. These are labeled: Active (the processor is active.) Slot 1 (the controller has been configured as slot 1 controller within the VME rack) BMAS (the VME master access is occurring) Enet (there is Ethernet activity) Bslv (the VME slave access is occurring) Status (Displays an OK†pattern or an error code) Flsh (writing to Flash memory) GenX (the Genius I/O is active) TheIS215UCVDH1A uses discrete and analog blocks of control block language. Programming occurs in Boolean logic that is represented using a format based on relay ladder diagram. TheIS215UCVDH1A is two boards stacked one on top of each other.Each board includes a backplane connector. Boards are populated with components like integrated circuits, connectors, resistors, capacitors, transistors, and standoffs to allow for the connection of the two boards. The IS215UCVDH1A will be treated by AX Control as a static-sensitive board both during storage and during shipment.This includes wrapping the board with anti-static material to prevent damage during transit.
