Description
The IS205VCXHG1 is a VCO Transmitter component manufactured by GE to fit into their Mark VI system.The Mark VI, which was one of the last Speedtronic gas and steam turbine management platforms released by GE, is built around a Central Control Module.This module handles the bulk of protection, monitoring and control needs for the system. It connects to the rest of the MKVI system via termination boards plug into a 13- or 21-slot VME card rack.The Mark VI is designed to coordinate seamlessly with specialized software like GE's CIMPLICITY graphics and the Control System Toolbox. The IS205VCXHG1 board is a very small card with limited components.A single backplane connector is the only board connector on the PCB. This is composed of multiple small pins that alternate between the front and the back side of the card.This backplane is located along one long edge of the board; due to the design of this backplane connector and the size of the pin connections, the board should be handled delicately to avoid damage to this component. The IS205VCXHG1 is marked with several codes, including 6BA01.It carries the board number and the manufacturer logo. There are seven integrated circuits located on its surface.This includes monolithic synchronous voltage-to-frequency converters (AD6520AQ,) and full-size DIP high-frequency crystal oscillators (SG531P.)The board has capacitors, resistors, and diodes built into the surface of the board. It has no jumper switches or test points.
