The IS2020LVPSG3A is a VME Rack Power Supply.This power supply is designed to mount to the right side of the VME interface and control racks. There are two connectors at the top of the power supply (PSA and PSB) that mate with a cable harness that carries power to the VME rack.The IS2020LVPSG3A is a 24 VDC 300 W power supply. It has three (3) +28V PSA outputs and a Status ID output. This power supply supports redundant operations. The IS2020LVPSG3A is built as a complete module. The front of this module has a faceplate that is screwed closed at multiple points but can be opened.This faceplate is labeled Power Supply” above a waffled opening. The bottom of the faceplate has a location to record the revision and catalog number.In the middle of the faceplate, there is a small removable panel that includes a toggle switch (On/off) and green, red, and yellow LEDs. These are labeled normal, fault, and available. One side of the unit functions as a large heat sink. The bottom of the unit has a panel with multiple inputs, including those labeled PS125 or PS24,” PS335,” PS28,” and PSSAT.” The IS2020LVPSG3A is one of seven (major) variations of the VME rack power supply.Each variation has different input and outputs requirements. The IS2020LVPSG3A is a newer design of the power supply. Fault conditions and LED indicator status of the IS2020LVPSG3A are listed in GE publication GEH-6421.The IS2020LVPSG3A has no field serviceable components. Please note the power supply cover should not be removed in the field.
