The IS200VTURH2B is a GE Mark VI board component.The Mark VI system is a gas and steam turbine management system released by GE under the ‘Speedtronic' name in the 1990s.It was one of the last systems to be released in the Speedtronic line and followed--and improved upon--several other Mark” systems. The IS200VTURH2B is a Primary Turbine Protection board with a two-slot front faceplate.It drives six trip solenoids using two TRPx boards and accepts eight flame detectors. The IS200VTURH2B has several functions, including measuring shaft voltage and current, providing automatic generator synchronization/closing the main breaker, and measuring turbine speed with pulse rate devices to generate a primary overspeed trip.In gas turbine applications the IS200VTURH2B also monitors Geiger-Mueller flame detectors. The front faceplate of the IS200VTURH2B has three LED indicators placed near the top of its surface. The faceplate also has cable connectors mounted near its bottom edge. The IS200VTURH2B has an auxiliary board mounted to its surface using four screws threaded through standoffs.The two boards communicate via a connection made from a vertical pin connector on the auxiliary inserted into a female plug on the motherboard.The auxiliary board has a single backplane connector. The IS200VTURH2B is built with thirteen transistors, two backplane connectors plus connectors made from conductive traces and dots, inductor coils, capacitors and resistors of various materials, and integrated circuits.Circuits include oscillating chips, FPGAs, and RAM chips. The board is marked with several codes for identification purposes, as well as with the GE logo.
