Description
The IS200FOSBH1A is a component created by GE for the Mark VI system.The Mark VI was one of the last of the gas or steam turbine management systems released by GE under the Speedtronic name. The IS200FOSBH1A functions as a Fiber-Optic Interface board.This board is a distribution array board made for use within Innovation Series drives.The board interfaces signals from Bridge Interface and Control Boards (BICH) with the Bridge Personality Board (BPIH) to bridge power devices.The IS200FOSBH1A multiplexes gate driver status signals from these two boards on a per phase basis. These three boards (FOSB/BICH/BPIH) provide the feedback interface, signal processing, and gating functions to interface the Digital Signal Processor Control Board (DSPX.) The IS200FOSBH1Aincludes signals to detect issues like missing/improperly connected cables.The board can also indicate bridge faults, and initiate soft-shutdown fault sequences. The IS200FOSBH1A is built with six plug connectors, two TP test points, and two stab-on connectors.The board has 102 fiber-optic connectors. Each connector is paired with an LED indicator. The board has no adjustable hardware or fuses on its surface. The IS200FOSBH1Auses 48 VAC 27kHz input power that is received from the GDPA High-Frequency Power Supply board.The IS200FOSBH1A includes a transformer for control power and a 5V switch-mode power supply.
