Description
The IS200ERRBG1A is a manufactured part created by GE to fit into the Mark VI system. This system, which was released as one of the last of the Speedtronic series, is a gas/steam turbine management platform that features a centralized control system. The heart of this system is a Central Control Module that connects via termination boards (placed in a 21- or 13- VME card rack) to the rest of the system. The Mark VI has operator interfaces (otherwise known as human/machine interfaces or HMIs,)that allow end users access to data created within the system. The IS200ERRBG1A functions as an Exciter Regulator Redundant Backplane. This component typically fits within GE's EX2100 Control System, a third-generation digital excitation system designed to coordinate with the MKVI, its hardware, and HMIs.The system can also be used with user retrofit applications, using communication protocols like serial or Ethernet Modbus. The IS200ERRBG1Aprovides connectivity to all PCBs (printed circuit boards) mounted within it and also powers via cable connectors externally mounted boards and modules. This component is made up of the C and M2 control sections of the regulator in redundant applications. The C control section includes boards like ERIO, EISB, and DSPX as well as their connectors.M2 contains boards such as EROC, ERDD, EPSM, ERIO, DSPX, and AXLA. The IS200ERRBG1A includes a fan to allow for air cooling of components mounted within its framework. Please refer to data sheets, user guides, and manuals published by the manufacturer for more complete information on handling, installation, and function of this part and its associated parts.AX Control handles MKVI components as static-sensitive, with parts stored and shipped in anti-static sleeves. Please refer to manufacturer guidelines for handling before unboxing your new part to avoid possible damage.Purchase
