Description
The IS200CVMBG1A is what is known as a capacitor voltage monitoring board or CVMB. This device is a type of printed circuit board or PCB. The capacitor voltage monitoring board is a device which monitors the voltage across the DC link capacitors in Innovation Series drives. CVMB boards provide secondary indication of voltage presence for any operations who open the bridge cabinet doors. There are three (3) neon lamps labeled DS1, DS2, and DS3 are placed on the CVMB board which blink if there is high voltage (greater than 50 volts DC) on the DC bus. The CVMB board contains an attenuator network which controls the neon lamps. These three (3) lamps are situated close to the top border of the IS200CVMBG1A. These lamps can be seen clearly whenever the doors of the bridge cabinet are opened. The bulbs and bulb clips feature the part numbers 68A780494 and 68A944080P1 respectively. The IS200CVMBG1A board does not contain any fuses test points, adjustable hardware, or connectors. The board is mounted directly onto the terminals of the DC power capacitor. The CVMB board is mounted using four (4) holes, known as mounting points labeled as E1, E2, E3, and E4. This PCB does not require any input power. Six (6) capacitors are lined up along the top of the IS200CVMBG1A identified as C1 through C6. A total of twenty (20) resistors have been placed all over the IS200CVMBG1A. These resistors are divided into four (4) groups of five (5) resistors each which are aligned vertically on the IS200CVMBG1A.
