Description
The DS3815PDPA is a printed circuit board from GE. It is a component used in the Mark IV gas and steam turbine management system, which is built on interconnected microprocessors. These interconnected systems continuously monitor the turbine and protect it from issues such as over temperature, over speed, loss of flame, vibration, high pressure, and fire.
The DS3815PDPA is an oversized PCB with a large number of components. Because it is larger, the board has been supported by two board stiffeners, which have been installed across the long dimension of the board and each connected at three points. Board stiffeners are designed to constrain bend areas and offer mechanical support. The board has two extractor clips inserted into its drilled corners.
The DS3815PDPA is built with two red LED strips (eight LEDs total,) and one amber LED, which is labeled IMOK.The board has ten TP points, which are all individually labeled. There is one area of spare PTH located on the board.
The DS3815PDPA can communicate with other PCBs via its four mating connectors.This includes one 278A3465 connector with screw mount connections, two 218A4553-1 A/mp 553002-1 right-angled connectors, and a single 34-pin vertical male connector. This last connector sits close to two board-to-board pins designed to lock an auxiliary board into place and four nylon spacers used to support the corners of an additional board.
The DS3815PDPA has twelve jumper switches, six resistor network arrays, and over eighty circuits. General Electric provided all technical support for this part, including publications such as manuals and data sheets.

Repair
We offer repair on most GE Turbine boards we sell. Although we usually have replacements available, we recognize that customers may prefer to have their board repaired. Our repair program allows us to offer a lower cost alternative to replacement.
