General Electric has created the Mark IV Speedtronic series to control and run Turbines. Turbines are an efficient way to create energy. Using an internal combustion engine to mix air and fuel to create a contained explosion. This explosion creates a mixture of gases that make the turbine spin. The DS3800XPER has five tiny bright yellow diodes. The DS3800XPER has twenty-three metal pins that are called Jumper Ports. These pins have a cover that allows the worker to adjust which way the energy current flows by moving these covers between the sets. The DS3800XPER has four small teal colored resistors, thirteen small light blue resistors, one large black resistor, and one large tan resistor. The resistors have a series of colored bands as many as five bands per resistor, that indicates how much energy the resistor can restrict at a time. The DS3800XPER has twelve screw top terminal ports. The DS3800XPER has a small black male connector terminal with six metal pins and a small blue male connector terminal with twelve pins. These mall connection terminals allow the DS3800XPER to be attached to the surrounding circuit boards. The DS3800XPER has two blue capacitors that have small handles on top of them, one orange circular capacitor, one small orange capacitor, and one large orange capacitor. These capacitors hold energy for the circuit board in an electrical field. The DS3800XPER also has several holes throughout the board to allow for easy attachment to the existing system.
