General Electric has been a leading manufacturer of Turbines and turbine-related equipment. Gas Turbines are an effective way to produce and harness energy. Using an internal combustion engine with a mixture of fuel and air to create a contained explosion. The explosion produces a mixture of gasses that need a way out so the push on the turbine causing it to spin which creates power. The power is then harnessed and used for a wide variety of other applications. The DS3800XCIA1 is a smaller card that is also considered a daughter board because it needs to connect with a larger circuit board to function. The DS3800XCIA1 has almost twenty screw holes around the circuit board to easily attach it to an existing setup. The DS3800XCIA1 has two dark read jacks with two opening in each jack. The DS3800XCIA1 has a small dark blue Jumper Port cap. The DS3800XCIA1 has a small black tower next to the Jumper Port. The DS3800XCIA1 has three long black female terminal ports in the center of the circuit board. The DS3800XCIA1 has a long silver metal rail running under the female terminal ports. Each side of the silver rail has eighteen short metal spines used to secure on a wiring harness from another circuit board. Each piece of the board has a unique number and letter combination along with the circuit boards part number (DS3800XCIA1) and General Electric’s logo along with where it was made stamped just below the company logo.
