Description

The DS3800NPPB1 is a power supply circuit board. This product was manufactured by General Electric. The DS3800NPPB1 is a component in the Mark IV system. The Mark series of turbine controls was designed to automate turbine operations and protect the turbine against operating conditions that may be unsafe. The Mark systems have been relied on to control turbines for decades.

Much of the space on the surface of the DS3800NPPB1 is taken up with many small components. A variety of small resistors is attached to the circuit board. These resistors are banded in various colors. The different colored bands represent the resistance of each device. Many small capacitors can also be found among the resistors. Several larger capacitors are positioned around the DS3800NPPB1. Three large green capacitors are aligned near the bottom edge of the DS3800NPPB1. On the other end of the circuit board, there are two large brown capacitors. Featured near the center of the DS3800NPPB1 are two large inductors. Two other large inductors can be seen near the upper corners of the DS3800NPPB1. Two large transistors can be seen near the top of the DS3800NPPB1. A few smaller transistors are also located around the DS3800NPPB1. Five of these are found in the lower right corner while three more are in the center of the top part of the DS3800NPPB1. Two red terminal blocks are placed in one corner of the DS3800NPPB1. Each terminal block features twelve terminals each. Two small fuses can also be seen on the side of the DS3800NPPB1. These fuses are labeled as FU1 and FU2.
