General Electric (GE) created this printed circuit board (PCB) for the MKIV series. MKIV, or Mark IV, is used for turbine control.

The DS3800NPID1F1F contains a large metal plate which sits upright on the circuit board. This plate features three (3) large metal transistors on the lower part. There are three large metal diodes on the side of the plate. These components are attached to the DS3800NPID1F1F with wires. One (1) large inductor (or coil) is also situated on the side of the metal plate. This inductor consists of yellow wire and is surrounded by a black plastic cover. This inductor is also connected to the DS3800NPID1F1F with wires. The DS3800NPID1F1F contains two (2) large resistors on its side. These resistors are grey in color and shaped like rectangles. Each resistor is labeled with a resistance of ten watts (10w). A total of twenty-eight resistor networks can be found on the DS3800NPID1F1F. These resistor networks are relatively small and yellow in color. They are arranged in a line on one edge of the DS3800NPID1F1F. Two (2) small transformers can be found on the DS3800NPID1F1F. These transformers are called T2 and T3. Situated next to the transformers are three (3) integrated circuits. At least six (6) yellow capacitors are positioned on the DS3800NPID1F1F. These capacitors vary in size. Many other capacitors are located all around the DS3800NPID1F1F in different colors and sizes. Several large diodes are positioned on the DS3800NPID1F1F. Each diode is marked with the name CR. Also found on the DS3800NPID1F1F is one MOV or metal oxide varistor which is red and round.
