Description
GE created the DS3800NPCG as a part of the Speedtronic MKIV turbine automation and control system. The MKIV is just one system in the Mark series. This system manages the processes of both steam and gas turbines. The Mark IV both automates turbine operations and protects the operators of the turbine and the turbine itself from harm.
Mark is a series which is part of the larger Mark IV turbine control system. This includes both gas and steam turbines. The Mark IV automates the processes of startup and shutdown as well as cooldown. This series also controls the operations for regulating temperature in addition to steam and water injection. The Mark IV contains many features which aid in troubleshooting.
The DS3800NPCG is a device which is called a snubber board. This product is a type of PCB or printed circuit board. The MKIV series was adjusted and perfected over forty (40) years, or since the late 60s. The DS3800NPCG is what is sometimes called a daughter board. More options for functionality can be added to the circuit board by attaching the DS3800NPCG board to the larger device. The operator has additional options for operations by using a daughter board. The DS3800NPCG does not contain very many electronic circuit board components due to its small size. The DS3800NPCG board may feature capacitors, resistors, diodes, jumper pins or other small electronic components. The daughter board has a few small holes located on its edges which allows the DS3800NPCG to be connected with screws to the bigger circuit board.

Repair
We offer repair on most GE Turbine boards we sell. Although we usually have replacements available, we recognize that customers may prefer to have their board repaired. Our repair program allows us to offer a lower cost alternative to replacement.
