The DS3800NLBA1 is part of the Speedtronic Mark IV Turbine series. General Electric is the creator of the DS3800NLBA1. Turbines are a simple way to create energy using an internal combustion engine. In the internal combustion engine, there is a mixture of fuel and air used to create an explosion causing a gas mixture that turns the turbine. The DS3800NLBA1 has seven small black transistors and four silver circle transistors. The transistors are used to amplify or switch electric signals and electrical power. The DS3800NLBA1 has two teal diodes, two deep red diodes, thirty orange diodes, two light blue diodes, four silver and black diodes, four small grey diodes, four large grey didoes, six large red diodes, six large black didoes. The DS3800NLBA1 has seventeen black rectangles called EEPROM. An EEPROM is used to hold all the programming information for the DS3800NLBA1 to work. Each EEPROM comes pre-programmed and cannot be updated. The DS3800NLBA1 has four yellow capacitors. The capacitors hold extra energy in an electric field. The DS3800NLBA1 has a twenty-eight hole female port in the center of the board. The DS3800NLBA1 also has a long female port along one of the short edge of the board. The DS3800NLBA1 has two metal barriers along the longer edges of the boards. The DS3800NLBA1 has two-hundred and sixteen resistors. Each resistor has multi-colored bands to indicate how much energy the resistor can hold.
