Description
The DS3800NGTA1D1D is a PCB (printed circuit board) from GE manufactured as part of their Mark IV system. The Mark IV, which was designed for gas/steam turbine management, can be used for water, air and fuel emissions monitoring. It can also automate some procedures necessary in the running of turbine systems, such as start-up and cool down.
The DS3800NGTA1D1D is designed to function as a general test signal board. It has two communication connectors attached to the board, one on its left edge (218A4553-1A/mp 533002-1,) and one toward the right. The latter communicates with an optional auxiliary board which sits above four nylon pins connected to the DS3800NGTA1.
The DS3800NGTA1D1D is marked for alignment, marked '6BA04,' and is also marked with the GE stamp. Extractors are installed in each right corner. Extractor clips can be used as levers to help technicians pull boards from tight locations. They also act as handles, allowing technicians to install the boards without touching delicate circuitry.
The DS3800NGTA1D1D is built with five TP test points, three resistor network arrays, three trim potentiometers, two potentiometers, one toggle switch, and four LEDs (three red and one amber.) Resistors tend to be ceramic covered metal film.
The DS3800NGTA1D1D is built with twenty-five integrated circuits. This includes hex inverters, quad 2-input positive AND gates, and dual retriggerable one-shots.
