Description
General Electric developed the DS3800NGMA as a component in their Speedtronic/Mark IV line. The Mark IV was designed for steam or gas turbine control. It can automate some proceduressuch as start-up and shut down for consistent management control. It can also make sure the turbine system does not operate in unsafe or damaging conditions.
The DS3800NGMA is a general purpose multiply card with the following specs and components:

-one male connector on the left edge of the board (218A4553-1 AMP 102041-1.)

-five integrated circuits

-one female Augat connector (28-pin.)

-one PCB reinforcement bar. This board stiffener strengthens the board and keeps it from flexing.

-four jumper switches. Jumpers can change which circuits get completed, allowing for some board customization.

-four potentiometers (rotary.)

-one transistor.
-
-thirteen TP test points. Test points are parallel to one edge.
-
-one LED. The LED is amber and is labeled "Imok."
The DS3800NGMA is designed to accept daughter board DS3800DGPA. This optional auxiliary is held in place by twenty-eight metal pins and supported at each corner by a nylon spacer already attached to DS3800NGMA.
The DS3800NGMA is factory-drilled at all corners and has been alignment marked. Extractor clips have been installed in both right-hand corners. These clips allow a technician to install or extract the board from tight locations without having to touch the board itself.
Datasheets and manuals for the DS3800NGMA were originally distributed by GE. These technical support publications are often the best resource for safety guidelines, maintenance schedules, and installation instructions.

Repair
We offer repair on most GE Turbine boards we sell. Although we usually have replacements available, we recognize that customers may prefer to have their board repaired. Our repair program allows us to offer a lower cost alternative to replacement.
