Description
The DS3800NFLA1C1C is a piece of the Speedtronic Mark IV series for controlling turbines. This is a small circuit board made by General Electric (GE). The DS3800NFLA1C1C is a daughter board. By connecting a daughter card with a larger circuit board, an operator can add extra components and different functions to the larger board.
The DS3800NFLA1C1C has six (6) diodes labeled as CR. A line of jumper pins labeled as J is next to the diodes. A jumper can be used to make connections between two pins. This makes changes in the operation of the circuit board. Also on the other end of the DS3800NFLA1C1C is another set of jumper pins. An assortment of resistors which are covered in colored bands is located near the center of the card. The resistance level of each device is signified by the colors of these bands. The reference designator R is used to label the resistors. In the middle of the DS3800NFLA1C1C are several small diodes These diodes are labeled as CR. The middle of the circuit card also contains round transistors which arelabeled as Q. A large orange capacitor is a component which stands out on the DS3800NFLA1C1C. This capacitor is labeled with the reference designator C. A rectangular relay, alternately known as a contactor, is seen next to the capacitor. This relay is colored silver. A long clear fuse is also featured on the DS3800NFLA1C1C.
