Description
The GE Excitation Power Board DS3800NEPD1G1D features a hole in each corner through which you can insert a screw to secure the board. The board is populated with multiple capacitors. The board is populated with 2 power components. The GE Excitation Power Board DS3800NEPD1G1D is also populated with 1 amber indicator LED. The board also has 1 34-pin connector and multiple wire terminals for attaching wires and components to circuits. The board is also populated with 5 trimmer resistors.
The GE Excitation Power Board DS3800NEPD1G1D is engineered with 1 hole in each corner. The holes align with holes in the board rack in the drive. The installer can mount the board in the drive with screws. Insert the screws into the holes and use a screwdriver to tighten the screws. Do not over tighten the screws because the board might be damaged. The material the board is made from might crack if the screws are too tight. Also, the screws might wear through the holes which will leave the board unsecured. Instead, tighten the screws until they are snug and the board does not move.
Before you install the board several tasks must be considered. The wire terminals provide the installer an opportunity to add components to the board. A specific resistor can be added to a circuit or a short wire can be added, depending on the needs of the site and the environment. It is best practice to confer with the engineers, operators and management to decide if additional components are needed.

Repair
We offer repair on most GE Turbine boards we sell. Although we usually have replacements available, we recognize that customers may prefer to have their board repaired. Our repair program allows us to offer a lower cost alternative to replacement.
