The DS3800NAIB1D1F is a printed circuit board (PCB) designed as part of the Speedtronic Mark IV system. The Mark IV, a step forward in steam and gas turbine control, used integrated chipsets with overlapping two-out-of-three voting redundancies to minimize downtime caused by electronics failure. With built-in backups on all critical controls and protection parameters, the Mark IV can simply shunt responsibilities to a different chip if one experiences an issue, and keep running while the user diagnoses the problem.

The DS3800NAIB1D1F functions as a multi-volt buffer board that reduces power consumption via dynamic voltage and frequency scaling. The DS3800NAIB1D1F
