Description
GE developed the DS3800NAIA PCB (printed circuit board) as a component of their Speedtronic/Mark IV system. The Mark IV was designed for steam/gas turbine control. This system can automate certain procedures, such as startup, cool down, and shut down, and can also protect the turbine system from operating under unsafe conditions.
The DS3800NAIA is alignment-marked on its top edge. It is marked along the bottom edge with the code "6BA07." It is factory-drilled and has a board extractor installed in each right-hand corner. Extractors help technicians extract or insert the board without touching delicate circuitry, especially in tight working conditions.
The DS3800NAIA has six potentiometers located in its upper left quadrant. This includes three trim pots and three rotary potentiometers. There is also one resistor network located on the same side in the lower corner.The board is populated with thirty-two 200V yellow film capacitors, along with many other smaller polyester film capacitors. It is also built with multiple diodes and capacitors.
The DS3800NAIA has a connector attached along each short edge for communicating with other PCBs. This includes the male connector 218A4551 AMP on the left edge and the female 218A4637P2 located on the right edge.

Exchange

Please ask about our exchange credit program if you have a defective board to exchange with the purchase of a new or reconditioned replacement. We ask that the defective board is sent in within 30 days of the purchase.
Repair
We offer repair on most GE Turbine boards we sell. Although we usually have replacements available, we recognize that customers may prefer to have their board repaired. Our repair program allows us to offer a lower cost alternative to replacement.
