Description
The DS3800HXPC from General Electric is a printed circuit board designed to fit within their Mark IV Speedtronic line. The Mark IV is a steam/gas turbine control system that can control every aspect of turbine management. The Mark IV has been designed to boost uptime and decrease downtime created by electronics failure; it does this through the use of interconnected chipsets with built-in redundancies that can automatically take over for a damaged board.
The DS3800HXPC has been manufactured with these specs:

There are 37 jumper switches located on the board. Some of these switches are multi-positional. Nine jumpers are located parallel to the right edge of the board. Eight more sit perpendicular to these. Two of the jumpers are placed in individual locations--both in the upper right corner. Four jumpers are parallel to the left side of the board, and six are perpendicular in two lines of three.

There are six resistor network arrays located on the DS3800HXPC. Resistor network arrays can be used for digital to analog conversion, for analog to digital conversion, or for voltage division.

The board has been factory drilled in all corners.

The board has 48 integrated circuits.

The board has three connectors. Two of these are male (located on the middle right edge,) and one is female (located on the left edge.) Markings on these connectors are 218A4637-P2 (male) and 218A4553-1 (female.)
The DS3800HXPC has been manufactured using metal film resistors and aluminum electrolytic capacitors. Installation guidelines can be found by referencing the General Electric manual or data sheet for DS3800HXPC.

We ask that the defective board is sent in within 30 days of the purchase.
Repair
We offer repair on most GE Turbine boards we sell. Although we usually have replacements available, we recognize that customers may prefer to have their board repaired. Our repair program allows us to offer a lower cost alternative to replacement.
