Description
The GE Universal Memory Board DS3800HUMB1A1A is designed for quick installation in the drive. The board features a modular connector on 1 end and retention levers on the other end. The GE Universal Memory Board DS3800HUMB1A1A also is populated with 1 toggle switch and 1 red indicator LED. The board is also populated with multiple electrically erasable programmable read-only memory (EEPROM) modules and 30 jumpers.
The toggle switch on the GE Universal Memory Board DS3800HUMB1A1A is used by a technician or operator to overwrite the contents of the modules. Once the contents have been erased, new code can be programmed on the modules. In this way, code updates are easy to apply. To erase the contents, move the toggle switch as indicated on the board. In this toggle position, the new code can be written to the modules.
The 30 jumpers on the board are used to configure the processing operations. Some of the jumpers are associated with 1 of the quads. The quads control 1 segment of the processing. Each quad is comprised of jumpers, single-pin connectors, and module sockets or transistor-to-transistor logic devices. The jumpers all have a unique ID. The prefix is the letter J. The prefix is followed by a number. The single-pin connectors all have numbers associated with them. Each quad has the same numbers assigned to the single-pin connectors. For that reason the quad ID is part of the single-pin connector ID. For example, connector Quad A pin 14 and Quad C pin 14 refer to different pins on the board.

Repair
We offer repair on most GE Turbine boards we sell. Although we usually have replacements available, we recognize that customers may prefer to have their board repaired. Our repair program allows us to offer a lower cost alternative to replacement.
