DS3800HSDD is a solenoid driver printed circuit card made for the Speedtronic Mark IV. General Electric manufactured the board as acomponent in turbine control. All of the Mark systems, including the Mark IV, has been reliable for ensuring that gas and steam turbines are running safely and efficiently for many years. The Mark IV system is the result of decades of development and innovation.

The DS3800HSDD solenoid driver card has a total of 21 integrated circuits in various sizes identified by the letter U. Vertically arranged down the center of the board is a variety of 15 capacitors which are yellow in color and can be identified by the letter C. An assortment of other capacitors can also be seen on the board and are also labeled with the letter U. Resistors banded with varying colors are found all over the DS3800HSDD. These colored bands signify the resistance capability of the devices. A group of eight transistors is situated on the right half of the solenoid driver card. Accompanying each transistor is a round red diode. Lining the left edge of the DS3800HSDD is a connector port which offers the opportunity to connect additional components or other boards to the DS3800HSDD. A series of 8 LEDs, also know as light-emitting diodes are located on the right of the circuit card and emit a red light when they are lit. These diodes are identified by the letters CR. Other diodes in different shapes are scattered around the board and can also be identified by the letters CR.
