The DS3800HSCJ1 was created by General Electric to be a component in the Speedtronic Mark IV series. The Mark IV series is a system that helps to regulate gas and steam turbine operation. The Mark systems have been utilized for several decades for turbine operation since the development of the first Mark I system in 1968.Technologies that have been in development since the 1940s were used in the Mark systems. The Mark IV performs many different functions in a turbine system. The Mark IV controls various kinds of fuels according to the machine’s speed and load control requirements. This system is in charge of controlling temperatures and sequencing automated startup auxiliaries as well as cool down and shut down. The Mark IV system protects against adverse operating conditions and situations.
