Description
The GE High Level Non-Isolated Input Board DS3800HSCD features a modular connector on 1 end and retention levers on the other end. The board is populated with a multiple capacitors. The board is populated with multiple transistor-transistor logic devices. The GE High Level Non-Isolated Input Board DS3800HSCD is also populated with 16 red indicator LEDs and 1 amber indicator LED. The board also has 1 socket for electrically erasable programmable read-only memory (EEPROM) modules. The board is also populated with 3 trimmer resistors.
When the amber LED is on, the GE High Level Non-Isolated Input Board DS3800HSCD is experiencing a condition that produces a warning. To clear the warning and make the amber LED turn off, the first troubleshooting step is to stop all control signals and all processing and reset the board. First, remove all sources of power from the drive to make all the boards in the interior of the drive safe to touch. Lift up on the retention levers and lift up on the board so that it is partially removed from the board rack. Wait 30 seconds and slide the board back into the rack and close the retention levers. Apply current to the drive and wait for processing to restart. The reset synchronizes the control signals and starts proper processing. If the amber LED is off, the waring has cleared. If the red LEDs are flashing, processing has restarted.
If the warning persists, use the diagnostic tools to further investigate the condition.
