The DS3800HSCC1D non-isolator input board is a 28 VDC (volts of direct current) board. DS3800HSCC1D is part of the Speedtronic Mark IV series and was produced by General Electric. The Speedtronic Mark IV is a series of turbine controls which has been counted on to deliver high performance in turbine operation and safety for many years.

Nineteen integrated circuits cover the left half of the DS3800HSCC1D. On every integrated circuit, these components contain a variety of parts such as diodes, resistors, and capacitors. Sixteen light-emitting diodes, also known as LEDs, are located on DS3800HSCC1D’s right edge. The left portion of these light-emitting diodes is labeled with letters as A through F and the right portion is labeled with numbers from 1 through 9. The left edge of the DS3800HSCC1D is taken up by a large connector port. A group of sixteen capacitors is arranged in a vertical line on the right half of the board. A large amount of different colored capacitors is interspersed around the DS3800HSCC1D. Also located across the board are many resistors which are covered in bands in different shades of red, yellow and orange. Each resistor’s bands symbolize the amount of resistance in each part. Towards the bottom of the DS3800HSCC1D’s surface is a smaller area labeled SPARE. The DS3800HSCC1D’s upper edge is marked with the letters A to I, and the board is marked as 10 to 80 by tens on the left edge. DS3800HSCC1D, the circuit board’s full part number, is seen on the very bottom edge of the board.
