Description

The DS3800HSCA1G1E is a printed circuit board. The board is part of the Speedtronic series of gas and steam turbine controls and was manufactured by GE (General Electric). The Mark IV system is responsible for the regulation and correct operation of a turbine system. Mark IV is an evolution of the earliest Mark systems, called Mark I and Mark II. The Mark systems' technologies have been in use for decades for the regulation and operation of gas and steam turbines.

DS3800HSCA1G1E has two long vertical connector ports on either side of the board which enables the user to connect the board with other components. In the center of the board is a series of 16 transistors. Many small diodes are concentrated in the center of the board. On either side of these small diodes is a series of larger yellow capacitors. Resistors striped in multiple colors are arranged next to the transistors. On the right edge of the board are 9 light-emitting diodes, or LEDs. 8 of these diodes are red and 1 of the diodes is orange. On the left half of the circuit board is a collection of 13 integrated circuits. These integrated circuits contains several different circuit components on a single devices. Resistors, capacitors and diodes are all found on the integrated circuits.
