The DS3800HRCA is part of the Mark IV Speedtronic Turbine Line by General Electric (GE).The DS3800HRCA has a silkscreen that has every piece outlined and labeled, along with the part number and General Electrics logo. There are four EEPROM (non-programmable memory cards) and thirty-three EPROM (re-programmable memory cards). There is a black raised platform and an empty space labeled “SPARE” for either type of memory card to be installed. There are over ten resistors. These resistors are color coded for the number of Ohms that they are equipped to handle. There are nineteen gold diodes, three teal blue diodes, a black diode, two grey diodes and five gold capacitors. There are two sets of metal pins. These pins are called Jumper ports. These ports direct the current flow across the board. By covering a pair of Jumper ports, the current can be moved in a different direction. The DS3800HRCA features five LED lights in black clips (four red and one yellow). The DS3800HRCA is considered a daughter board. This means it connects to a larger circuit board in order to function. To connect the DS3800HRCA with other circuit boards please use the two screw ports and the clips on the board. For the DS3800HRCA to get the power it must get connected to another boards power. To do this the DS3800HRCA has a large power terminal on one side.
