Description
The GE Pulse Rate Input Board DS3800HPRB1A1A is designed for quick installation in the drive. The board features a modular connector on 1 end and retention levers on the other end. The GE Pulse Rate Input Board DS3800HPRB1A1A also is populated with 12 jumpers and 1 trimmer resistor. The board also is populated with 1 programmable interrupt controller, multiple programmable interval timer devices, and multiple capacitors.
Each jumper on the GE Pulse Rate Input Board DS3800HPRB1A1A has 2 supported positions. One position is the default setting. It is the factory set position and is generally the most common setting. The other position is available by moving the jumper. The jumper can cover pins 1 and 2 or pins 2 and 3. To move the jumper, use your thumb and forefinger to lift up the jumper off the pins. Align the jumper to fit over the other jumper pins and gently slide the jumper over the pins. If you force the jumper, it might bend or break off the pins.

The trimmer resistor must also be adjusted on the replacement board. The setting used on the original board is also documented by the installer. Use a testing device to adjust the trimmer resistor on the replacement board to match the setting on the original board.
