Description
The GE Microprocessor Board DS3800HMPK1N1K is designed for quick installation in the drive. The board features a modular connector on 1 end and retention levers on the other end. The GE Microprocessor Board DS3800HMPK1N1K also is populated with 3 red indicator LEDs and 1 amber LED which are visible from the front of the board. The board also is populated with a microprocessor, erasable programmable read-only memory (EPROM) modules, and a 34-pin connector. It also is populated with 2 50-pin connectors.
The 34-pin connector is located between the retention levers on the board front. The 2 50-pin connectors are located in the middle of the board and are accessible only when the board is removed from the drive. They require some special consideration when you install a ribbon cable. With the board removed from the rack, plug the ribbon cable connector into the connector. Then neatly fold over the ribbon cable and route the cable toward the front of the board. This limits the opportunity for the ribbon cable to block the air flow. Route the cable to the interior side wall of the drive.
The 50-pin ribbon cables can be bundled with the 34-pin ribbon cables for routing purposes. However, never bundle the ribbon cables with any power cables in the drive. The power cables might release interference that disrupts the signals. Route the power cables out of the drive through the ports on the side of the drive and keep them away from the signal cables.

We ask that the defective board is sent in within 30 days of the purchase.
Repair
We offer repair on most GE Turbine boards we sell. Although we usually have replacements available, we recognize that customers may prefer to have their board repaired. Our repair program allows us to offer a lower cost alternative to replacement.
