Description
The GE Log Dr Bus Interface Board DS3800HLOA1D1A is designed for quick installation in the drive. The board features a modular connector on 1 end and retention levers on the other end. The GE Log Dr Bus Interface Board DS3800HLOA1D1A also is populated with 16 red indicator LEDs and 1 amber indicator LED which are visible from the front of the board. The board also features 8 jumpers and 1 erasable programmable read-only memory (EPROM) module.
When the GE Log Dr Bus Interface Board DS3800HLOA1D1A is first powered on, all the indicator LEDs turn on to verify that they are functional. The LEDs stay lit for a few seconds. If the board has powered on and has passed the start up diagnostic tests, the amber LED is lit. The red indicator LEDs are lit when processing is occurring on the board. Each red LED is associated with a circuit on the board. So, to monitor the activity of a particular circuit, you can watch the 1 red LED associated with the circuit. The operator will monitor the activity of the board by watching all the red indicator LEDs.
If the red indicator LEDs stop flashing, it might indicate 1 or several possibilities. The board is operational but another component in the drive has ceased to function properly. This might result in signals not reaching the GE Log Dr Bus Interface Board DS3800HLOA1D1A. Or, a problem with the board has occurred which has ended processing. If you restart the drive, it might clear up any signal or processing errors.
