Description

General Electric developed the DS3800HLCA1D1E printed circuit board as a working piece of its Mark IV Speedtronic gas and steam turbine control system. This system uses integrated chipsets built with intentional redundancies that allow boards to automatically take control over another's responsibilities if a technical issue arises. In this way, downtime is minimized.

The DS3800HLCA1D1E, which functions as an I/O Control board, has the following specifications:

• has one red LED marked "test."

• has four potentiometers, labeled HGN, HOS, LGN, and OS. These are positioned on the right side of the board.

• has two toggles. The 'test' switch is marked A4627P5 C & K 0.4 VA max. This switch has three right-angled prongs. The 'reset' switch is marked A4627PII C & K 0.4 VA max. This switch has six right-angled prongs.

• has over 35 integrated circuits, including two programmable Intel interfaces located in the center of the board.
