Description
The GE Gas Turbine Daughter Board DS3800HCMC1 features a modular connector for attachment to a drive and retention levers to hold the board in the drive. The GE Gas Turbine Daughter Board DS3800HCMC1 also is populated with 14 jumpers, and 1 amber and 2 red indicator LEDs. The board also has 2 34-pin connectors, and multiple capacitors and resistors.
The GE Gas Turbine Daughter Board DS3800HCMC1 is designed to apply additional circuitry and functionality to another board in the drive. For this reason, the board it enhances is referred to as a motherboard. The 2 boards work together to add processing function to the drive.
The board is designed to use the standard board rack for installation in the drive. That is, the modular connector is located at 1 end of the board. It fits into a modular connector in the interior of the drive. The modular connector connects the board to the other components in the drive. It provides the proper current to power the board. The modular connection also enables the command signals to be received by the board for processing. The command signals are also transmitted from the board after further processing. The modular connectors eliminate the need for loose cables that can block airflow in the drive.
However, ribbon cables are connected to the 34-pin connectors on top of the board. They are located next to the retention levers and the indicator LEDs. Connect the ribbon cables to the board after the board is securely installed in the rack.

We ask that the defective board is sent in within 30 days of the purchase.
Repair
We offer repair on most GE Turbine boards we sell. Although we usually have replacements available, we recognize that customers may prefer to have their board repaired. Our repair program allows us to offer a lower cost alternative to replacement.
