Description
The GE Generator Regulator Board DS3800DXRA features 1 20-pin connector and 10 jumpers. The GE Generator Regulator Board DS3800DXRA also is populated with multiple capacitors and 5 indicator LEDs. The board is also populated with a toggle switch for resetting the board.
The capacitors have identifiers that start with the letter C. A numerical valve follows the letter C and the IDs are printed on the surface of the board. Some examples of the capacitors that populated the board are C2, C5, and C7. The indicators LEDs on the board are suffixed with the CR letter combination. The CR letter combination is suffixed with a numerical value. Some examples are CR1 and CR3. To read a description of the meaning of each LED you can refer to the written board description that comes with the original board from the factory. The descriptions are presented by ID so you can easily locate a lit LED, identify it using the ID, and read the description for that particular ID in the installation instructions.
The board is also populated with a reset toggle switch. The reset switch is assigned an ID that is printed on the board. The ID of the toggle switch is S1 and it is the only switch that populates the board. If the board is experiencing intermittent problems or has suddenly stopped functioning as normal, it is a proper first troubleshooting step to restart the board by using the restart switch. This enables processing to restart on the board without removing current to the board.

We ask that the defective board is sent in within 30 days of the purchase.
Repair
We offer repair on most GE Turbine boards we sell. Although we usually have replacements available, we recognize that customers may prefer to have their board repaired. Our repair program allows us to offer a lower cost alternative to replacement.
