Description
The GE Circuit Board DS3800DVIA is 2 inches in height and 4 inches in length. The board features 12 single-pin connectors, 4 terminals for connecting additional components, and 2 resistors. The GE Circuit Board DS3800DVIA also is populated with 3 trimmer resistors.
When you receive the original board from the factory you will find that the 4 terminals are empty of any additional components. You might consult with an engineer or technician about the need for additional components. However, at a later date you might find that an additional component is required to gain the processing functionality that is needed from the drive.
The technician must have a full understanding of the results that will be achieved when a specific component is added to the board. However, the installation of a component is easy, once the component to add is identified. Remove the board from the drive and disconnect the single-pin cables from the board. The board is attached to the drive with plastic tabs. Lift 1 corner of the board at a time to disconnect the tabs and place the board on a clean and flat surface. The written information that came with the board will describe the terminals and which ones to populate to achieve a desired result. Loosen the screws on top of the terminals and insert the lead wires of the component into the terminals. Tighten the screws so that the components don’t move around. If the lead wires touch other components, clip them closer to the terminals to avoid contact.

We ask that the defective board is sent in within 30 days of the purchase.
Repair
We offer repair on most GE Turbine boards we sell. Although we usually have replacements available, we recognize that customers may prefer to have their board repaired. Our repair program allows us to offer a lower cost alternative to replacement.
