The GE Circuit Board DS3800DOCA is 1 of several boards that are installed in the drive and maintaining the interior temperature of the drive below a threshold is very important for several reasons. Excessive heat can lead to early failure of the board and other components. This increases maintenance costs and reduces productivity when the drive is offline for repair.
