You must plan the cable routing inside the drive. Route the cables along the sides of the drive and not across the board, which might block the air from removing heat. Also, don’t block the air vents with the bundle of cables. Another consideration is that power cables cannot be near the signal cables. That is, the power cables can radiate harmful interference that can cause the drive to have intermittent errors or temporarily stop processing. Route the power cables in a separate bundles. In some conditions, you can use shielded cables that protect the signal cables from interference.

The trimmer resistors are components they can be adjusted to suite the processing requirements of the site. They are considered to be potentiometers. They are sometimes called trimpots. Only a qualified and trained technician can adjust the trimpots. A calibrated tester is needed to monitor the circuit while the trimpot is adjusted. Make sure the probes are intended for use with the testing device. A small screwdriver with a flat blade is needed to turn the trimpot screws. To prevent the screws from accidentally being turned after the adjustment, a small amount of clear glue is sometimes placed on the trimpot. However, if needed the glue can be removed to readjust the trimpot.
