Description
GE manufactured the DS3800DISA printed circuit board (PCB) as part of the Speedtronic Mark IV series. The Mark IV is a gas and steam turbine control system that has many functions, including temperature control under max load conditions, the sequencing of the turbine fuel system and its auxiliaries for startup procedures, and the protection of the turbine against unsafe/adverse operating conditions. The Speedtronic has been specifically designed to minimize forced outages caused by electronics failure.
The DS3800DISA is a small daughter board meant to work as a signal isolated auxiliary for a larger motherboard. It is marked 6BA02 to help refer the user to the proper larger board. The DS3800DISA has the following specs:

it has been factory-drilled for mounting, one hole per corner

it has six screw terminals for quick connections. These are located in two lines on the board.

it is marked with a logic buffer symbol (triangular mark)

it has two resistor locations marked on the board between screw terminals. Metal film resistors (ceramic covered) are to be used here.

it has two potentiometers. These are labeled R1 and R2. The potentiometer in the R1 position is marked on its side "3069P-1-103." It has a resistance of 10,000 Ohms. The potentiometer in the R2 position is marked on its side "3069P-1-503." It has a resistance of 50,000 Ohms.
GE provided technical support for the DS3800DISA. Please refer to published manuals and data sheets for safety guidelines, maintenance suggestions, and installation procedures for this and other Mark IV components.

Repair
We offer repair on most GE Turbine boards we sell. Although we usually have replacements available, we recognize that customers may prefer to have their board repaired. Our repair program allows us to offer a lower cost alternative to replacement.
