Description
The IS230TRTDH1D is a small board component manufactured by General Electric. This component is part of the Mark VI system. The Mark VI was one of the last of GE's Speedtronic systems for gas/steam turbine management. TheIS230TRTDH1D is an RTD Input terminal board.The board accepts sixteen, 3-wire RTD inputs, which are wired to two terminal blocks located along the front edge of the board.Inputs are designed with noise suppression circuitry to protect against high-frequency noise and surge. This board is designed to communicate with one or more of the Input/Output processors within the Mark VI system that convert inputs to digital temperature values and then transfers these values to the controller.In a MKVI system, TRTDH1B/1C boards work with the VRTD processor. These boards support either Simplex or TMR applications. TheIS230TRTDH1D also includes two J-port connections.(JA1 and JB1.) These correspond to the terminal blocks located directly in front of each connector.The board is surrounded by a metal frame that includes a shield bar. IS230TRTDH1D inputs are supported over an input range of .3532 to 4.054 V. Depending on the type of RTD, the temperature range is from -51 degrees Celsius up to +700 degrees Celsius ( only 100 Ω platinum to this high temp.) The IS230TRTDH1D has no configurable hardware.Diagnostics include hardware limit checking based on pre-set high and low levels.System limit checking also occurs. Each connector has a read-only chip located on the board that includes revision number, connector location, terminal board serial number, and board type.
