The IS215ACLAH1A is ACLA Exciter Communication board produced for the Speedtronic Mark VI turbine series. The Speedtronic Mark VI turbine series was produced in the 1990s by General Electric. The Speedtronic Mark VI was the top technology available at that time and was back with thirty years of experience by General Electric. The IS215ACLAH1A has a faceplate that has an ENET port, two COM ports labeled COM 1 and COM 2. Next to each COM port is a pair of threaded posts that are used in conjunction with the COM cord to secure it into place. The faceplate also has multiple lights next to an outlined section that says STATUS, along with a few lights individually labeled above that. The IS215ACLAH1A uses a good deal of large microchips along with smaller microchips to house the information that allows the circuit board to perform its duty. Some of these microchips are double stacked (one on top of another). The larger microchips each have writing on the top of them. The writing is unique to that particular microchip and its purpose. The IS215ACLAH1A has a male connector plug on the back edge of the circuit board. The IS215ACLAH1A is also equipped to be a Mother Board” and has white plastic towers that are used to clip into a Daughter Board” and secure the daughter Board” into place. The IS215ACLAH1A's faceplate also has metal support that extends past both ends of the face plate. This metal support has two holes one on each end to secure the IS215ACLAH1A into its place.
