The IS210BAPAH1A is an Analog processor module designed as a component that fits into the Mark VI or Mark VIe systems.Both systems have been created by GE for the management of gas or steam turbines. The Mark VI is built around a Central Control Module, which is responsible for most of the monitoring, control, and protection of the turbine system. This platform is also very good for integrating power island and balance-of-plant controls. The Mark VIe is a DCS (distributed control system) that spreads control processing to nodes throughout the system and controls all of these nodes through a central scheduler. The IS210BAPAH1A is part of the Acoustic Monitoring Input pack.With the SAMB terminal board, it supports dynamics for all frame 6, 7 and 9 gas turbines.This is a narrow black module with a single port located on the front faceplate. The front faceplate also has two sets of LED indicators placed one on top of the other.The back edge of the component has two flanges with holes cut into their surface to allow for screw mounting of the component within a rack. The top and bottom of the module's covering are partially open to allow for air flow. As an analog processor, the IS210BAPAH1A conditions the analog signal to remove dc bias and amplifies ac content to maximize resolution before the signal is digitized by the analog-to-digital converter.The analog processor includes eighteen analog signal-conditioning channels, twenty-four A/D inputs channels, and PHY0 and PHY1 physical Ethernet layers.
