Description
The IS2020RKPSG2A is a VME Rack Power Supply for the Mark VI system.The Mark VI was one of the last of GE's Speedtronic gas/steam turbine management systems.These management systems were developed starting with the Mark I in 1969 continuing through the 1990s with the Mark VI and the Mark VIe.The Mark VI is built around a 13- or 21- slot standard VME card rack that connects to general purpose and application-specific input/output cards as well as the main processor card.This Control Module also connects to an Operator Interface that gives the end user access to turbine data and software maintenance tools. The IS2020RKPSG2A supplies +5 VDC, +/-12VDC, +/-15 VDC, and +/-28 VDC to the VME backplane.There is an optional 335 VDC output to power flame detectors that are connected to the TRPG board.The IS2020RKPSG2A has an input voltage of 24 VDC. Its output voltage rating is 400W. The board has five +28V PSA outputs, a single +28V remote outputs, and a single status ID output.This board supports redundant operation. However, the board does not have a PS335 output. It is worth noting the IS2020RKPSG2A is designed to be a direct replacement for the RKPSG1 board. The IS2020RKPSG2A is built with a large heat sink component built as one side of the module.The top and the bottom of the module both have connectors. These include PSA and PSB located on the top edge (typically connected to a cable harness for carrying power,)PSSTAT, PS28, PS335, and PS125 or PS24 located on the bottom edge. Fault conditions on the IS2020RKPSG2A have three classes.One class requires replacement of the supply. One requires some reset action.The final class will transiently shutdown an output.
