The IS200VSCAH2A is a PCB component made by General Electric for the Mark VI system.The Mark VI was released by GE as part of the Speedtronic line of gas and steam turbine management. The IS200VSCAH2A is a Serial Communication Input/Output board.The PCB is used to provide Input/Output interfaces for external devices that use RS-485, RS-422, and RS-232C serial communications.This board connects to a DSCB terminal board via its front panel connectors (J6 and J7.) The DSCB board then connects to external devices like intelligent pressure sensors (Honeywell pressure transducers or Kollmorgen electric drives.) The IS200VSCAH2A is a single-slot board.It includes six serial communication ports that each can be configured as an RS-485, RS-422, or RS-232C interface by using a berg array three-position group jumper. The front panel of the IS200VSCAH2A includes three LED indicators.This includes a RUN” LED that flashes green, a FAIL” LED that powers a solid red.The Status” LED will only power if a diagnostic alarm condition exists. The IS200VSCAH2Ahas 18 three-position jumpers and one one-position jumper. This includes JP1 through JP6 for selecting port electrical characteristics, JP7 through JP12 for configuring transmission lines, and JP13 through JP18 to select the correct termination configuration for receive lines.The two position jumper (JPU1) selects between Modbus operation and Honeywell pressure transducer for ports 1 and 2. The IS200VSCAH2A is built with multiple capacitors and resistors.The board has over forty integrated circuits including oscillating chips, field programmable gate arrays, and universal asynchronous receiver transmitters.
