Description

The IS200VCCCH1B is board component created by GE for the Mark VI system. The Mark VI is the third of the Speedtronic systems for gas/steam turbine management to offer triple redundant backups on critical controls.The Speedtronic system has been available in its different iterations since the late 1960s. The IS200VCCCH1B is a Discrete I/O board.This board is designed to accept discrete inputs (48 in total) from four terminal boards and controls relay outputs (up to 24.)This board mounts in the VME Input/Output rack that has two plugs (J3 and J4) for cabling to terminal boards (TRLY and TBCI.) The IS200VCCCH1B has a wide front faceplate to allow for space for the VCCC's daughterboard.It is worth noting the VCRC board is a single slot version of the VCCC. The IS200VCCCH1B passes input voltages through optical isolators to sample the signals at either 1ms for a sequence of events or at the frame rate for control functions.The VME backplane is used to transfer the signals to the VCMI, then on to the controller. The IS200VCCCH1B has a front faceplate that includes several components including LEDs and connectors.The faceplate connects to the board using screw connections. The board itself is populated with a daughterboard that connects to the main board via a multi-pin connector.This daughterboard is held in place via four screws threaded through standoffs. The daughterboard has a single backplane. The main board also has two backplanes as well as other connectors.It also has resistors, capacitors, diodes, and TP test points. The board has thirty-plus transistors. There are two Murata DC power supplies located on its surface. Integrated chips (over sixty) include SRAM and RAM chips, as well as FPGAs.
