Description

The DS3810DDDB1 is an HMI (human machine interface) panel and PCB designed by GE as a component for the Mark IV series. The Mark IV is GE’s steam and gas turbine control system.

The lower PCB of the DS3810DDDB1 is alignment marked on one edge. Extractor clips are inserted in two corners. These clips, which are made of nylon, give technicians both a handle and a lever point during insertion and extraction. One amber LED protrudes to the side of the upper panel.

The HMI panel of the DS3810DDDB1 is built with multiple cutouts. These allow three amber LEDs and one red LED, plus six LED strips (three amber and three red) to show through from the lower PCB. The LED strips are either twenty-light or ten-light strips.

The panel and the lower board of the DS3810DDDB1 are connected together via four screw-mounts. The upper panel is divided into three sections by vertical lines. The first section has one switch labeled RESET and four individual LEDS that are labeled DRIVE OK/ DATA LINK ACTIVE/READY TO RUN/FAULT.The first three are amber LEDs. The last is red.

The second and third panels are composed of forty numbered values across six LED strips. Fields with ten values have 20-light LED strips, and fields with five values have 10-light LED strips. The first three fields have red LED strips, the last three amber. The fields are as follows:
