Description

The DS3800NPSM1 is a part of the Speedtronic Mark IV series of turbine control. This system was designed to automate turbine controls and protect the turbine against the dangers of unsafe working conditions. The DS3800NPSM1 is a power supply panel.

The DS3800NPSM1 prominently features two inductors at the topof the circuit board. Inductors are sometimes known as coils. There is an empty space on the right side of the inductors which was placed there to house one large capacitor. A third inductor is positioned on the DS3800NPSM1 underneath the others. There are six wires attaching this inductor to the DS3800NPSM1 circuit board. Next to this inductor, there are two large metal diodes. These diodes are marked with the initials CR1 and CR2. Two black wires connect each diode to the DS3800NPSM1. In the lower left corner of the DS3800NPSM1, there are two large transistors. The part number 12SE314 8747 is written on the top of each transistor. There are four large orange capacitors on the lower right side of the DS3800NPSM1. On the right of the circuit board, there is a fuse labeled with the initials FU1. Two LEDs, also known as light-emitting diodes, are located adjacent to the fuse. One of these LEDs is red and one is orange. A red switch is situated between the two LEDs. Close to the middle of the DS3800NPSM1, there are two small integrated circuits. Two mid-sized capacitors are also found in the middle of the DS3800NPSM1. Of these two capacitors, one of them is yellow and one is blue. There are two small transistors on the DS3800NPSM1 which are labeled Q1 and Q2.
