Description
The DS3800NGRC1, which is manufactured by GE as a regulator board, is a component in their Mark IV system. This system was created for steam or gas turbine control management and is able to automate some processes such as cooldown and startup. It can also protect the turbine system from operating during adverse or unsafe conditions.
The DS3800NGRC1 is marked on one edge with the letters A through J for alignment. It is marked '6BA08' on the opposite edge. The board is drilled in each corner for mounting.
The DS3800NGRC1 has four communication ports installed to communicate with other PCBs, including 218A4637-P6 8920 and 218A4637-P6 8927 ports. There are also two P4 ports from the same series. There is also one 6-pin header on one edge.
The DS3800NGRC1 is built with twenty-five integrated circuits. This includes Quad 2-input exclusive-OR gates, precision operational amplifiers, and voltage comparators. The voltage comparators are designed to operate over a wide range of supply voltages and have an output that is compatible with RTL, DTL, and TTL as well as MOS circuits.
The DS3800NGRC1 is designed with capacitors, diodes, and resistors. Resistors are carbon composite and ceramic-covered metal film. Many of the capacitors are through-hole polyester film with axial leads.
As the original manufacturer, GE provided technical support for the DS3800NGRC1 and other Mark IV components. Publications from the manufacturer (datasheets, manuals) may be resources for installation guidelines and maintenance schedules.

Repair
We offer repair on most GE Turbine boards we sell. Although we usually have replacements available, we recognize that customers may prefer to have their board repaired. Our repair program allows us to offer a lower cost alternative to replacement.
