Description
The GE Firing Circuit Board DS3800NFCD1K1D features 1 hole in each corner for attaching with screws the board to the drive interior. The board is populated with 4 standoffs for attaching a daughter card. The daughter card provides additional processing, connectors, and features. The board is populated with multiple transistor-transistor logic devices. The GE Firing Circuit Board DS3800NFCD1K1D is also populated with 13 red indicator LEDs and 1 amber indicator LED. The board also has 1 socket for electrically erasable programmable read-only memory (EEPROM) modules. The board is also populated with multiple jumpers and 2 34-pin connectors.
The standoffs are plastic and they secure the daughter card on top of the GE Firing Circuit Board DS3800NFCD1K1D. Components are embedded on the board below the daughter card and the daughter is raised above the board. The holes on the daughter card fit into the standoffs. The technician presses down on the card until the card is securely locked into the standoffs. A connector on the bottom of the daughter card connects to a matching connector on the board when the card is installed on the standoffs.
The single cable pin connectors on the daughter card also have IDs. The IDs are numbers without a prefix or suffix. Some examples are 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. When the daughter card is installed, the technician sets the jumpers, adjusts the potentiometers using a testing device, and connects any cables.
After the card is installed and configured, the board with the card attached can be installed in the drive.

Repair
We offer repair on most GE Turbine boards we sell. Although we usually have replacements available, we recognize that customers may prefer to have their board repaired. Our repair program allows us to offer a lower cost alternative to replacement.
