Description
DS3800NBIC1 is a bridge interface circuit card made for the Speedtronic Mark IV series for turbine control. The DS3800NBIC1 was produced by GE (General Electric).
Featured on the DS3800HBIC1 are 26 integrated circuits which all have many small components. Twelve transistors are labeled on the board from Q4 to Q15. Designated as Q1 to Q3 are three more transistors adding up to a total of 15. On one side of the DS3800NBIC1 is a connector port on one side that lets an operator attach additional boards or more components to the DS3800NBIC1. Featured on the DS3800NB1C1 is a range of yellow, silver, and blue capacitors. Several resistance networks are located on the DS3800NBIC1. Within each resistance network is a group of resistors. Adding together the resistances of each individual resistor equals the total resistance of each resistance network. A range of others resistors in addition to the resistance networks is on the DS3800NBIC1. Various colored bands signify the resistance capacities of each resistor. Blue and black diodes can also be seen on the DS3800NBIC1. Seen on the DS3800NBIC1 is a group of jumper pins featuring blue jumpers. With these jumpers, users can connect two pins, which makes changes to the board. Twenty-four test points are lined up on one side of the DS3800NBIC1. These test points enable the DS3800NBIC1 to be tested for any issues. Also seen on the DS3800NBIC1 is a light-emitting diode, or LED.
